Misguided Mind

From clock in and out

The thought of another race was impeccable

With a badge on you still felt the same

With or without

Bleed the hatred towards the darker color

Thought of 15 complaints filed against me?

Chicago is where you lived

Crime filled

Where do I begin

Kissing your family goodbye every morning

You sense that killing was a way

Clock in…...you put on that dirty badge

See a 17 year old boy

on his way on a place he should have been

You stop him...consult him

He wasn't the one to test

He didn't trust people like you

So he gave the sense of ignorance and irritation

Just to make you feel that you weren't his friend

Steady hands on that waist

Waiting for the wrong thing to say

Never mind now he's own his way

Wait you're now filled with rage

And pull out the pistol you once used to save

16 shots hit Laquan McDonald

Now your hands starts to throttle

Your mind was finally at rest

In a killer's mind your sick

Life sentence? Now you gotta do the time

Born with a misguided mind
