Misinformation of Education

Clink, clink, you are now in the sunken place

The place where schooling is the pathway to success

Mainstream Success

Here is what to do

Memorize, Memorize, Memorize, Memorize

The quadratic formula, Pythagorean theorem

Remember, say it after me

x= −b ± b2−4ac/2a  a2 + b2 = c2

Study, Study, Study, Study,

Khan Academy, College Board, ACT Inc. are your friends, your life

SATs, ACTs, AP Tests,

They bring the best.

Remember, Remember, Remember, Remember,

It may be stressful but…

Spring showers bring may flowers

Love me, love me, tell me how much you love me

Why do you pick me?

Tell me, Tell me, Tell me, Tell me,

In 500 words or less

But why should I pick you?

Rare books, study abroad, residential colleges,

Small campus, best professors, beautiful campus

Clash, boom, crash, you are no longer in the sunken place

Intelligence does not equate to education

Education does not equate to success

Successful people do not always come from amazing schools

Schools that are $60,000 a year

Years where you have to work after college you pay back loans

Why do we have to?

Why do we need to go to college?

What is the point?

Maybe--

We are all overeducated overthinking people

Creating ideas as we go along,

Maybe there is a better purpose

Or maybe this is our purpose

Or maybe---

This is all pointless
