Misleading signs ... Satire

Romans 11:7

7 What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks;

but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

Breaking down the signposts along the highway of confusion

Particularly the ones of speed limits should be the first to go

I am enjoying a free ride to the endpoint called delusion

where many like me are waiting thinking they’re in the know

At the starting point I was assured by many of the concerned

That the only way to travel was ignoring the places visited before

What a blessing they appeared to be so convincingly well-learned

There is nothing like accepted delusional in embrace of their core

They arrived solemnly from nowhere traveling towards the same

I was just a rest-stop as they were gathering support

An unusual feeling beset me like life was just a game

to be played by humanity in general and this I can’t afford
