Misplaced
I'm not in the right place.
I was born at the wrong time.
My place isn't here or there.
It isn't anywhere.
Somehow I managed to get caught in a revolving door.
Attempting to be successful.
Trying to fall in line with others,
So that I don't fall in line with people who ended up now where.
So that I can try to have support for my family.
So that I will have a place to live.
But maybe I don't want this.
Maybe I should make my own line.
The line of outcasts.
I'm not struggling.
I'm not successful.
I'm not even alive.
I'm nobody.
And this nobody is not supposed to be anywhere
Not here, nor there.
