Misread

Once again I see your tears

Will you always run away from what's ahead?

Show your smile without fear

And God will show you the world that's near.

Your heart is fragile, but say the words unsaid.

Once again I see your tears

And in your hopeful eyes I watch you persevere

You are more than the girl that's misread

Show your smile without fear

Everything seems far away like it will disappear.

It's the passion in you that crowns your head

Once again I see your tears

And you take them in your hands and hold them dear

Like they are souvenirs, but you're hanging by a thread.

Show your smile without fear

Show your love and look at what's here

Look next to you, girl, they're all unread

Once again I see your tears

Show your smile without fear.
