Miss Educated

I see two eyes and wonder what they've seen

A set of lips and wonder what they've said

An out of state plate and wonder where they've been

A boney homeless man and wonder where's the bread

It's an endless sense of universal wonder

Grace from up above and creeps from down under

Soft as a summer breeze, hard like the clap of thunder...

I could magnify these thoughts or I could stray..

Do you care when you ask, "How are you today?"

Or living vicarious, cause being alone is your fear

If I were to pass today, would you shed a tear?

Love fully while you're here; I promise the end is near

If I've ever done you wrong, this here apology sincere

Tell your people you love them, when the energy is real

You'll surely know, on that note, this poem, I seal...
