Missed Chances
Lost in your eyes,
with every glance.
You could have been the one,
if I had given you the chance.
Your smile lights up a room,
and my entire day.
I often wonder what if I’d embraced it,
instead of pushed you away.
The comfort of your arms,
is like no one else.
One hug from you,
and I think I could melt.
Your words of wisdom,
never leave my mind.
As I think about them now,
I wonder how could I have been so blind?
You swept me off my feet,
from day one.
You took hold of my heart,
what if you had only known?
