Missed Pillow Talk
While I talk
Across the pillow to you
Touch my lips
With the tips
Of your fingers.
While you listen
Kiss my hands that will be stroking your face.
While my words swim
Across the sheets
To your ears
Feel my hair and scratch my head
As if searching or rummaging
For the entry point of all these ideas
That I'll be sharing with you.
