Missed spots

Every day i miss a spot

my mind is at a loss

watching the world turn

my heart it really yearns

where is the light, the life i seek

trying so hard to perfect something

but missing the meaning of it all

many times i faulter

not much to offer

my love is terribly sewn together

by a mind fighting itself

nobody understands the hands i've dealt

now what's nowhere is here

i can fill in the empty spaces

find open places

and explore a life with you
