Missing

Missing posters line the trees

People looking every direction

Searching for a person that they’ve probably never seen

And will probably never see again

I do recognize the face

She’s familiar but I can’t quite put my finger on it

But she’s me

I’m not missing

I’m right here

Then the whole world seems to disappear around me

And I look down to see nothing

Except the body of the missing girl
