Missing Friendship

The wall grows higher, higher, higher

Every day that you don’t care,

Every day you let our friendship

Slide through your fingers.

The wall grows higher, higher, higher

Every time you look away.

Every time you bring me down,

Every time you walk away.

This is what I tell you

This is what you deny

What happened to the good times?

What happened to our life’s?

You build it up,

I tear it down.

You try so hard

To block me out.

I remember that smile you had.

The remarks you made.

The fun we had.

The memories we create.

Where o’ where has it gone?
