Missing the Good Old Days

I miss the times when we talked all day

You're with her now and I'll be okay

We don't speak anymore and I don't know why

It's like you gave me wings and made it illegal to fly

Although I probably never cross your mind

Your face and name haunt mine all the time

I miss your presence more and more each week

When I see you in the halls I keep my eyes from springing a leak

I guess I could call you my evil inspiration

Because when I see you, I get this terrible sensation

I have tried to maintain this to the best of my ability

Because all I want is an ounce of stability

So now I'm sitting here hoping we're still friends

Sitting here wondering if our friendship will end

I'm tired of everyone walking out on me

Please just tell me if you will be

Maybe you will never realize the impact you had on me

You locked my heart and sawllowed the key

So every time I look into your gleaming eyes

I hope you see the girl holding back her cries
