Missing Halloween
Halloween night,
I search out the window in sorrow,
Where shall I go?
I continue to search but saw nothing to do,
A while passed,
I saw a girl,
Sitting alone,
I decided to go,
We chatted a while
And went for gold,
Hours go by
We sat on a hill,
Debating choices,
While eating sweets,
I decided to go back,
Straight on home,
A doctor stood by,
With notes in his hand,
I snatched em away,
And played keep away,
Reading the notes
It hit me hard,
Imaginary friend?
How could it be?
With a plain confused look,
I look at the girl
My mother showed a picture,
With only me alone,
I started to panic,
Away I went,
Back to the hill
With my real new friend,
She went through a fence,
I hesitated to go,
Watching her leave
Left me feeling alone,
I chased her down,
Stumbling through trees,
I caught up to her
By one of the bigger trees,
Sat down beside her
As we eat one more sweet,
I pass out fast
In a deep sleep,
The cops found me
In my sweet sleep,
Finally saw the girl
Turns out to be dead,
My new found friend,
Has been dead
What I saw wasn’t imaginary,
But her ghost,
It was sorrow,
But at least
She’s been found atlast.
