Missing Her

The night has come, awake I lay

Trying to find relief

I want my love, I miss her so

More than one can believe

Sheets cover my flesh, I still yearn

To feel the warmth of her skin

To not have her in my bed, but be alone instead

Should be nothing less than a sin

At last I sleep, then I dream

I can see you clear as day

I caress your body, and kiss your neck

Having moments I'd like to replay

Soon as I wake, I reach for you

Hoping your warmth is what I feel

But my hand falls short, for you're not there

And now I long to see you for real
