Missing Money Tree

There are many things that one cannot live without;

They range from the obvious; air, water, shelter – you know what I’m talking about.

I’d like to say that money wasn’t an item to be near the top of the inventory of needs;

But without it – nothing else supersedes.

Success or failure, winner or loser, triumph or defeat, all elements of existence;

Are also intertwined, it seems, with your bank account appearance.

There’s funding for this and that, and aide that can be requested;

Unfortunately, it looks good in the beginning – but when the payments come due it’s never expected.

As I make my way through my college voyage, as well as my young adult years;

I have a clear understanding of money fears.

I hope to make it through the process without being financially drained;

At this point, no money tree in my yard is what will be blamed.
