The Missing Negative
When Drew queried the professor,
On the correctness of his proof,
In place of Drew, Arachne
While Athena took her stay.
Two minds locked in logical brawl
One destined in this fight to fall.
The right, but human small his fault
Against Athena, wrong but built.
The looming chalkboard, the product
Of which the truth is sucked,
Is analyzed by scathing sight
To decide the victor in the fight.
Arachne claimed the triumph then
Forcing the teacher to make a mend
In the linear design.
Athena had a change of mind.
