Missing Piece
You are what I never knew
I always wanted to
You were given two legs to walk
Two hands to hold
Two eyes to see
Two ears to listen
But why only one heart?
Because the other one was given to someone else
For you to find
When death to either shall come
I pray it be first to me
When you are in love
You can't fall asleep
Because reality is better than your dreams
When I saw you, I fell in love
And you smiled because you knew
To the world you may be one peson
But to one person you may be the world
The night has one thousand eyes
In the day but one
Yet the light of the bright world dies with the dying sun
The mind has a thousand eyes
And the heart but one
Yet the light of a whole life dies
When love is done
I love you
Not for what you are
But for what I'm when i'm with you
Only fools fall in love
And I guess I'm one of them
Don't say you love me
Unless you mean it
Because I might do something crazy like believe it
Find a someone who calls you beautiful instead of hot
Who calls you back when you hang up
Who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat
Or stay awake just to watch you sleep
Wait for the one who kisses your forehead
Who wants to show you off to the world
One who constantly reminds you how lucky they are to have you
The one who turns to his friends and says
That's the one
I will follow you
And make a heaven out of hell
Then I'll die by your hand
Which I love so well
Listen to no one who tells you how to love
Your love is like no other
And that's what makes it beautiful
If I had one choice between loving you and breathing
I would use my last breath to say I love you
I will hate the one you marry because it is not me
And love the one if they make you smile.
