Missing Piece

Those who matter to me,

Those special few,

I hold them close,

Destined never to let them go.

My world spins until it can’t anymore,

I’m always on guard,

Building my walls high,

To protect myself from utter chaos.

But when you entered my life,

I knew nothing was going to be same,

My walls crumbled at first glance,

My heart stopped and my guard dropped.

My life will never be the same again.

Everything has changed,

The walls are crumbling,

Or maybe it’s adding a door,

Who exactly knows?

I only regret would be that I didn’t find you sooner.

Life before you was fleeting glances,

Missed chances,

No evening daces.

You are my love,

My strength,

And my peace,

More importantly you are a part of me.

You are my missing piece.
