Missing Pieces (revised)

I woke up craving you.

What is really new?

I love you,

But do you really love me too?

Or is that just more lies

that I believe when looking

into those pretty hazel eyes.

more broken promises

that i try to hide deep inside.

Was it ever enough for you?

Or was I just a bore to you?

Or was there more out there for you?

Something better when you met her.

Were you blinded to this love I could bring?

Oh come on, I gave you everything.

Every piece of me,

even between the sheets.

I never gave up on you,

but now what do I do?

You gave up on me,

but we were meant to be.

Nothing ever broke the bond,

But your love is so long gone.

Oh this is so wrong.

What you do when you love someone.

Will we ever be?

Or did you just throw away the key?

Because you still have my heart.

While I'm left here in the dark.
