As I look into the mirror

I see something

Something that's not right

There's a creature

Lovely on the outside

But on the inside

There's something dark

There used to be light in her

But now it's gone

There used to be laughter in her

But now there's silence

Her heart

It aches

Her heart

It bleeds

Like rain coming from a storm cloud

She's about to fall

Will the cloud break?

Maybe

Will the light in her come out?

Maybe

As I look into the mirror

I see something

That may be right

And yet

Maybe it's not
