Missing You

I hate the feeling of missing you.

Some would say that you're my muse,

Others would say that I'm confused.

To think you felt the same,

But to know I thought that in vain.

To love without a purpose

Or to sink into the surface.

To think there's such thing as love,

but to realize that they don't fit the glove.

I hate the feeling of missing you on a dark and stormy day.

It almost feels like I'm in the middle of a hurricane.

I hate the feeling of missing you when we're 2 feet away,

So I just stop and put on that brave face.

I hate the feeling of missing you when I'm laying in bed,

I have dreams all night that tear me to shreds.

When I look up at the ceiling,

It leaves me with an unsettling feeling.

I hate the feeling of missing you when I'm hanging with my friends,

You may think that you're worthless but you need to know that you're a gem.

I close my eyes and feel the breeze

And sometimes it puts me at ease.

An unbearable feeling of loving and missing,

I guess you could say it has me wishing.

I hate the feeling of missing you.
