The Mission

Location

The life of a writer isn't always words on a piece of paper.
In a small town lived a lonely girl
Haunted by her mind,
She left her nest and began to fly.
Tears of sorrow and happiness
She had cried.
But she reached for the sky
And set her goals high.
The mission is not about only the ending,
The journey isn't the ending.
It is the power to see that life is beautiful and bad,
And it makes a person's true self show.

She sits there with memories
Of the lives she's touched.
Of the trauma of a friend.
Of the struggle of a teammate's courage.
Of crying for another's pain.
The falcon reaches out to help others:
And that is what the mission is all about.
