The Mistake

I let you down.

I’m disappointed.

I’m frustrated.

I want to blame others for my own mistakes

But I know that it was my fault.

It was all my fault.

I tried.

But I know I can do better.

Please. Let me prove to you that

I am worth it.

Let me show you that

I can do better.

I know I messed up.

But I will be better.

I promise.

I need this chance

to redeem myself.

I need this chance

to save what little

confidence I have left.

If I can’t do this

I am nothing.

Please.

I’m sorry.
