Mistaken

The thoughts that wonder in my mind
The words that are swirling on the tip of my tough
The range that is boiling behind my eyes
Are all so lethal

The moment you text back my emotions will hit
I have coached myself to ignore you like you have ignored me
But, I can’t
I can’t wait five days 2 hours 3 mins and 35 seconds to answer you

Maybe it’s the fact that I finally have your attention
or
The fear that you will ignore me for longer
or
The ideas that you have moved on
or
The fact that I crave your attention like an addiction

I am addicted but, I mistake it for love
Like an alcoholic that loves the bottle
I love you

I love you enough to wait 5 days 2 hours 3 mins and 35 seconds
I love you enough to wait forever
I love enough to stalk your internet accounts
I love you enough to check your phone to see if it is still on
I love you enough to forgive the second my phone shows your name

But my addiction

it wears off

the second

you

ask

for me to

only

sleep over....

Im sorry but, you are just addiction that I have sadly mistaken for love.
