Mistakes

I am not your typical girl Or so I thought You were surprisingly refreshing, interesting I was constantly at awe A one in a million man amongst many mundane I found a gem. You are what I dreamed of. If I could mine your brain, bottle it up I would be the happiest It's what I fell for. I was okay with less until I wanted more. I created distance to shield you from my insecurities I left, you weren't angry. I should have stayed, Display the respect I claimed I had Your imperfections were my saving grace like my mirror to accept that not all needs to be fixed Nothing is wrong with you because there is nothing to fix I like who I have become The greatest mistake I ever made.
