mistakes

I've made mistakes, that I can't deny, But I'm only human I reply. I can't help but do the things I do, I can't help but say the things I say, I can't help but love the people I love, That's just me. And that's how I'll always be. True, I've stumbled and tripped over my own feet, created disaster & wreaked havoc among my own, My family, those who are suppose to love me, but I don't mean it. I don't mean to do it, it just happens, Something I cannot always control. You'd think, after making a mistake once I'd learn from it, but instead, I repeat history, I do it again. and in doing it again, I lose whatever trust was earned, whatever respect was earned, Whatever love was earned, and it just slips away. All because of these mistakes.
