Misty Morning

The fog seeps through the earth

The world sighs as it takes in the gulp of air

A fresh beginning like a rebirth

Knowing it will be alright, some place somewhere

This world may spin and topple and turn

But I won’t remember how I got here

Will you catch me if I crash and burn

So I may no longer live in fear

Of the misty morning’s sorrowful tears that fall down my face

That wrap their arms around you

They’ll take me you away for years and years

And leave you not as they found you

Letting you say one last goodbye

You’ll have to leave so very soon

Will I be able to leave this world too?
