Misunderstandings
Generation after generation, people change, yet they expect things to remain the same.
You hear "back in my day" and "things were better back then."
But you never hear praise for the up-and-coming generation,
simply dragging them through the mud, uphill both ways.
Each generation has their own fights and their own way to live,
but people seem to misunderstand,
they continue to expect people to act the same
even when the same people say things need to change.
But they misunderstand- it's the people who need to change
to grow and learn and expand.
And we all need to grow up, learn to live with the adaptions, and expand our horizons and way of thinking,
so that misunderstanding can be a thing of past generations, and something we have all changed together.
