"Misunderstood"

I tired not to hurt you

I really did my best,

But when ever I get angry

Its like my love is put to a test.

I'm sorry I hurt you

I wish I could take it back,

I have lost my sanity

I won't ever cut myself slack.

Only if you knew

How much I really care,

You wouldn't hate me right now

I know you wouldn't dare.

Would you even notice

If this very second, I died?

I just meant for you to be happy

Believe me, I've tried and tried.

But how come you don't see me

The way I really am?

I know you probably hate me

But, I know you love "them."

Well heres a news flash

I can't be the way "they" are,

I won't ever change who I am

Your conditional love left a scar.
