Mix Tape
Life as I know it has changed for the worst.
Not knowing the future brings thirst
For I am thirsting for colours.
Instead I am stuck in a black and white film
That is for sure a tragic realm,
And I can sense my body shutting down.
Out in the distance of where I lay in the dark path
I hear a mouth full of wrath
Which brought me back to life.
I look around to see faces passing me
Not letting eyes to see
A friendless maid.
But something caught my attention
And my brain looks for comprehension.
I walk down the street
To find this source in discreet.
I see another friendless man
Sitting a top of a watering can.
As I come closer he sees me.
I see a tape in his hand
That says a name of a rock band.
He offeres me a seat
And offeres me a piece of cooked cow meat
And plays the tape.
The black and white realm
Fails to undewhelm.
I see colours that were vanished before
And are now pouring from my core
That has made this mix tape
My salvation.
