Mixed emotions

Mixed conflicted feelings Emotions tumaltous turning Me inside out As I foam at the mouth I regurgitate truth Spewing honesty out Nothing left unsaid Judged nontheless My innocent pureness Tarnishes everything With truth I smear myself on public walls For all to see Laughing and mocking Pointing fingers Nothing covers me Left bare Left open Like a carcass in the wild A feast of wagging tongues But I endure And take upon me lashing Of I told you so And didn't you know Bitter medicine I swallow this gourd My humaness I volunteer Because perfection is an obscure notion We carry upon everything So at fault I am Take to slaughter Mary's little lamb Make them understand That no one is above reproach Anyone can be lost and found.
