Model Problems

I can't fucking stand myself

because I've joined a self loathing click

we stand around and smoke cigarettes

talking about how lucky we are to be models

though we are so fat and ugly

I am really depressed,

like douse yourself in Korean

depressed and go to a Korean

barbecue and ask for a lighter

I  don't got much personality

because I always have a cigarette

in my mouth, it keeps me from eating

and pretending to be interested in human rights

humans don't have rights, especially the ugly ones

and the poor ugly ones don't have anything

except, some infectious skin disease

which is why fashion models refuse

to do charity work or be on CNN.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion; it is not the expression of personality, but an escape from personality. But, of course, only those who have personality and emotions know what it means to want to escape from these things. T. S. Eliot
