Modern Ballad

(poems go here) Modern Ballad Football is more than a game People live, breathe, and love it It leads to many people earning fame Players put nothing above it The game has been played for many years People going hard on the grind Injuries have led to many tears Ending their playing time Rookies train to become legends Teams often strive for success While old timers help them do their best Practicing to be better than the rest Fans wear their favorite sports gear While tailgating becomes a priority Teens throw the football And little kids become a minority Looking at the roster in preseason Each team sets a goal Making plays and plans Hoping no loses will put them in a hole
