Modern Cinderella

Once upon a time,

A wonderful girl was born

To two wonderful parents

Who promised to love her forever.

They named her Cinderella.

Six years after Cinderella was born

The two wonderful parents

Both died in a car accident.

Sadly, Cinderella was put

In foster care.

Cinderella grew up moving

From house to house,

Never having a family.

But she didn’t let that discourage her.

She had dreams.

She excelled in every school she attended.

Always studied,

Always did her chores,

And was always kind.

Just like her mother told her to do.

At eighteen years old,

Cinderella graduated from high school.

She went to college.

Then, she went to law school.

She became a lawyer.

Only then,

Did she meet her true love

Prince Charming.

They married and

Created a family.

They lived happily ever after.
