Modern Day Atlas

The night is still young as the clock strikes midnight Anxiety and shame worse than the sleep deprivation No abate in concern is near with no end in sight Grogginess kicks in and with seemingly no need to fight No shrug could possibly cure the sensation The night is still young as the clock strikes midnight Mind wandering, blurry images of light Searching throughout for a spiritual resuscitation No abate in concern is near with no end in sight Lower end of the spectrum between fear and might Standing, sitting, staring, looking for an implication The night is still young as the clock strikes midnight It came quickly and left just as so ostensibly in spite Eyes opening and closing, dreaming of a better situation No abate in concern is near with no end in sight Starting to write begins the end of the plight Burden lifted off of my shoulders like Hercules' invitation The night is still young as the clock strikes midnight No abate in concern is near with no end in sight
