Modern Distance

Texts in the morning, Texts in the night

The distance between us slowly creeps

How can I not have forgotten fright

Sometimes you make me want to weep

This language we send gets carried away

You've had my heart, in your hand it belongs

You make me go up in dreamland and become astray

Years and years I've loved you all along

Secrets out that I did care about you

You broke me into pieces , your leaving

There was nothing I could do

The silence of the phone mocks me, I still hear it ringing

I found you once in a message , you're lost again

1000 miles took what could've been.
