Modern Echoes'

I scream and  burst as my voice gets louder in me
The mumbling and suffering of my one true love betraying me
I thought you loved me , but later on I figured out that I was just someone to pass the time on
I would never forget that night of mixed emotions of terror and confusion, but I did forget my sanity
When your lover found out about this affair, I was the one to blame and I was the one punished
My punishment was my thoughts marinating in my head as I sat in despair alone and quietly
I soon thought I met the love of my life, but I was unable to truly tell him due to my quietness

He swiftly fell in love with himself due to his ego and status

Once again I swallowed my thoughts and words as my screams turned into echoes in the great abyss of my
state known as reality.
