The Modern Eris

Typing out extensive conversations

No face to be seen through the screen

Watch as her coy smile builds

Aiming to prove some point

She laughs whether or not it’s wrong

Watch as their messages devolve

Giving up before nausea kicks in

There is a winner and it’s always Eris

Watch as she picks off her next victim

Shutting down the laptop

The screen makes them sick

Watch as they demolish the memory of her words

EnthrallingEris

A slam, a jam, a short writing about a ram. Whatever it may be, I'm down for all things poetry.
