Modern Goddess

Artemis' name was the same, but she was in a whole new world. The wilderness was a lot smaller, and instead of shooting arrows, hunters used bullets. The moon was obscured with smog, and things were more crowded, with cities all around her. She and her twin brother, Apollo, were not born on the island of Delos, but in a normal hospital, with no myth or legend told about them to the masses. They were normal, or, as normal as fraternal twins could be, anyway. They went to school, to college, to work, and lived as humans.
