Modern Struggle

My mind has been lifted; my time has been lifted,

Not knowing what, cuz the feels been shifted.

The time is now, the time has come,

When beginnings end, when the end comes.

The fighting starts, we argue now,

Not knowing what, what to think about.

The near is close, we’re comatose,

The near is close, we’re over most.

Love is questioned, where has it gone?

Got me thinking, why has it been so long,

What do we do? Where do we go?

It’s just too fast, we need to slow… down.

High school flew past me with barely any memories,

Too busy chopping trees instead of planting seeds,

Clique here clique there, which can I choose,

Click here click there, oh boy…. I lose.
