A Modest Birthday Wish

Today I become another year older Another year stronger and wiser I have the choice to grow warmer or colder As a paragon or a miser We are all free, in this fashion To make our own choices We decide how to display our unique passion And when to raise our voices Each and every single day Is an opportunity to try something new To fulfill our dreams in many a way And to try not just to "say", but also to "do" So I ask myself, "What can I do now?" What have I not improved before? What brings all evils down low?
