Mold

A gentle breeze does blow,

and the world full of the things!

I do not know.

Ignorance is "cute"

but later does it grow;

Into an object,

named "Unknown."

With fleeting moments,

Time has flown.

I ask Mommy:

"Mommy, why is the sky blue?"

She responds,

"Because God made it so."

Later,

Reality responded with science instead,

showing that my mother's respone

was best left untouched.

Time flies ahead of me once more.

I question my father:

"Father, may I have some money to go out?"

"Only if you wash the dishes,"

he replies.

Anger does crave

to scream and pout,

and little did I know that

Reality would strike me so;

Its harshness wounded me greatly,

without mercy.

Life did an unjustified deed.

Leaving me with grief,

my only friend to be.

Thorns pricked me without mercy,

my own kind did not want me.

What happened to that gentle breeze?

Hate, Pain, and Sorrow does grow,

preventing the train from taking its course.

Time has stopped,

yet continues to walk.

Ah, how ignorant I am!

Knock. Knock.

I open the door.

Light shines through,

my own kind greets me once more.

Joy and Love hugs me;

They told me to stay away from Hate, Pain, and Sorrow

and live with them instead.

I listened.

Love is strong,

but not strong enough.

My kindred changed with Time,

leaving me in my steps,

as they make their own.

Ignorance still hangs over me,

Time walks ahead of me,

but I am not alone.

I look ahead to catch up with Time,

leaving Past behind.
