Standing at the edge of a valley

Looking off in the distance

I see myself

a man without resistance

A mold to those around him

A competitor in the purest sense

Continuing on a spiraling descent

The end of which holds no bounds

The further I go the harder it is to look at the clouds

Understanding that rest is not without reward

I push onward no matter the obstacle

Though frightened I may be

I know that believing in God is the key

And although I may not have all the answers

There's a part of me that is at peace

Because it is that part that I find refuge

A place to call my home

Within my mind, I dwell

While those around poison themselves

With the hardships of the world

Bantering on with words that they cannot go on

I find myself even stronger yet

Because I believe that I can accomplish that which is impossible

It is who I am

A man who is a mold

The mold which is my only chain

The chain which is my only obstacle

And my obstacle which leads me to perseverance

I believe that I am stronger than the mold that holds others under

Once more I look towards the clouds

And I realize that it is to them that I am descending

That is who I am
