Mom

Stranded, dying, whatever it may be.

there is only one thing that I need with me.

Mom, mother, my eternal friend

together, I’d prefer to meet our end.

A mother’s love is worth much more

than a sentimental trinket on a deserted shore,

diamonds sparkling like sunlit dew,

And joyful emotions through and through.

A companion, a caretaker, a mother, not a bore,

is really all that I can ever ask for.
