Mom

On this island I sit all alone

If I had one wish what would it be

My mom to comfort me

She is my rock, my driving force

My great advocate, my greatest love

She held me tight when I was low

Gave me strength to help me grow

Mom is strong, forceful yet sweet

Assertive with a smile that cannot be beat

Stranded we may be but alone we are not

My mom gives me confidence to move mountains and beyond

She is the earth , moon and stars

And my setting sun

For a just short while

On this island we must stay

As long as my mom is near

We will find our way
