Mom

She brought me to life

Took care of me when I couldn't

But most importantly loved me when I wouldnt.

She held me for nine months

And has been loving me her entire life.

She drove me to school for eighteen years

And I never said a simple thank you.

She stayed awake when I had an exam

And she brought me strength when I was weaker.

She inspired me to apply to school

And someday I will be the lawyer she wants me to be.
