Mom

Mom

You had me at 18

Yet your life didn't stop

And your grades never dropped

You finished school

Went to college

And received something

Something that most don't

Something that most have never known

Never seen

And never completed

A Bachelor's degree

All while having me

Taking care of me

Feeding me

Cleaning me

Teaching me

Playing with me

All in all

Mothering ME

And today

I've come to say

You have inspired ME

To push through

Finish strong

And never give up

So thank you
