To Mom

I've felt hope I've felt despair Yet nothing compares To the feeling of another person's care She's always been there Through thick and thin Even those days that I've gotten under her skin. She's struggled and stressed And here I am now, making such a mess. But she kept going, pushing herself to her limits So now I'm working minutes upon minutes. Those minutes turn to hours Showing how much power I can put to make what's she gave me ours. She's helped me with my future and I should give back So let's win this and continue the attack. She gave me the tools to my education And that's only part of the reason she's my inspiration.
