For Mom,

My back bone,

The night light in my wall,

The band aids I use to cover up my scratches,

My weakness,

The sunlight I used to dry up my tears,

My bible when I need knowledge,

The only person I knew I could fall back on,

The only person who was ever strong enough to catch me,

My protector,

My mom,

My super woman.

The inspiration I need to keep moving forward,

She is the angel on my shoulder reminding me to keep doing the right thing.
