Mom

Cloudy, gray days fade away,

and is replaced by sunshine.

That shines so bright than any light,

in the blue sky.

It warms my heart and takes me apart,

from the world I live in.

And it takes me to a place in outer space,

a place I never been.

But I feel safe, in the sun’s embrace,

I am warm and cozy.

It seems like a fantasy, or a memory,

of me as a baby.

The safe, warm, coziness,

that makes me full of glee.

From the cloudy, gray days,

which made me unhappy.

The gray has fadeaway to sunshine,

and the memory is getting clear.

All of these feelings were coming,

from my mother dear.

Because she is the sunshine that shines bright,

in my gray life.

The sunshine that warms me up at night,

and makes me feel alive.
